I keep getting this pop up asking me for a password and its says your keyring password expired and when it ask me for my password i put the one i used to set up the computer . i keeps rejecting it. It says the one you used to log in is no longer matches the one used to sign in makes no sense.

Just installed PearlOS, had same issue. Solved by rm ~/.local/share/keyrings/login.keyring and Default_keyring.keyring files. Next went to System Tools>Administration>Login Window and signed in. Problem removed went went to sign in for original application. Special Note: Was harder to reply to this forum then solve keyring, must use Firefox or approved browser? Allowed to create user/password on non-firefox, but I guess signing in is reserved.

Can you explain your answer more? I'm new to Linux so a step by step would be helpful. Thanks

OK, so rm means to remove a file. I tried this and it came up with that the files don't exist. Any more ideas?

OK, so rm means to remove a file. I tried this and it came up with that the files don't exist. Any more ideas? This thread is very ancient, so I am sure your problems have found some conclusion by now... But my first thought right here was to say a recheck might be in order. It sounds to me like you may have already removed the files in question, and then for some reason not realizing that you were successful, you attempted to do so for a second time. I have done that too many times for me to remember as I was putting my time in on an unfamilliar CLI as a new(er) user. Anyway, I thought I would throw that out there in hopes it might be of some help to someone, sometime forward in the timeline. StarBaseONE2
