Pearl Linux 10 which unlike all other Pearl releases is based on Debian Buster (10) as oppose to Ubuntu.
What you will notice with this series release is there are many less updates to system and still remains safe due to Debian security updates lasting until June of 2024.
If you should come across any issue keep in mind that when searching the Internet for answers to your questions Pearl 10 series is based on Debian Buster and because this is the base of this system you may find many more available solutions to an issue by searching for said issue using Debian 10 instead of Pearl 10.

Thanks for all your work! The developments with Pearl 9 and 10 have made it the most flexible and aesthetically agreeable of all modern distros and it works comfortably on both older rigs and state of the art equipment.

UEFI boot not supported. I was trying to boot in UEFI mode in VMWare. It didn't work for me.

Looking at the Pearl site I don't see any information about system requirements. I want to put it on an iMac (1.83 GHz Core 2 Duo, 2 Gb RAM) which can't possibly run a modern Mac OS anymore. Is there a link to somewhere, or can you provide me the info?

Hello, old versions of Pearl Linux were much better, we are looking for the visuals in 3, 4 and 5.2 versions, ubuntu 16.04 versions were much more efficient, we want it to be like ubuntu 16.04 in their new distro, regards.
