I'd like some Help from the Pearl Linux Forum
I installed Pearl PDe FX 8 Linux on an Early 2008 MacBook Model id: 4.1, which iz an intel 2.4 GHz Core 2 Duo w/ 4 GB RAMemory. This Laptop still haz an eXcellent Battery w/ a Cycle Count of just 74 so I'm Relucant 2 Trash it. I Built this 4 my 10 Year old Daughter & She Loves it. We Applaud yoU 4 the Beautiful Desktop! But it takes a Long Long time 2 Boot, But once the Desktop haz Loaded it's very Responsive & Very usable.
Also I've not been able 2 get the Apple MacBook isight WebCam 2 work ( the Green LED beside it iz On, But the image iz just Horizonal Green & White Stripes ). Unfortunately the Ubuntu - Apple MacBook isight WebCam Support Website Closed Down a Couple of years ago...
I Wunder if yoU've had Any eXperience w/ this issue or can Direct me 2 Any1 wHo haz?
